Sara

 Sara Lynn Evans (/se@r@born on February 5, 1971) and is an American country music performer and songwriter. She also acts as an actor, record producer, and an author. Five of her songs reached the top of Billboard's chart of country songs and she has sold more than six million albums. Nine other singles have also made the top ten of the Billboard country chart, including "I Could Not Ask for More", "I Keep Looking" and "Cheatin'". In her top 20 charting singles are "Saints and Angels", "Backseat of a Greyhound Bus" and "As If". The singer has been awarded awards from the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association. She's also nominated for a variety of other awards from both organizations which include Female Vocalist of the Year as well as Single of the Year.Evans was raised in New Franklin, Missouri and began singing with her siblings in The Evans Family Band. They played in the town she grew up in throughout her teenage and childhood years. During her teenage years, Evans and her older brother Matt created their own band prior to moving to Nashville, Tennessee in 1991 to pursue a career in country music.
