Rihanna

 Robyn Rihanna (/ri’aen@/ (listen) (listen), ree-AN(born 20 February 1989) is a Barbadian performer, actor and businesswoman. Rihanna was born in Saint Michael, Barbados and was raised in Barbados. She auditioned for Evan Rogers, an American record producer, who invited her to the United States to record demo tapes. She was signed to Def Jam in 2005 and quickly became famous after the release of her first two studio album, Music of the Sun (2005) as well as A Girl Like Me (2006). Both albums were influenced by Caribbean music and made it to the top ten spots on the US Billboard 200 charts. The chart-topping single "Umbrella" earned Rihanna her first Grammy Award and catapulted her to global stardom. Her subsequent studio albums Rated R (2009) and Loud (2010) Talk That Talk (2011) and Unapologetic (2012) she continued to mix R&B, dance and pop genres. The latter was her first Billboard 200 number-one single.
