 Jennifer McCarthy Wahlberg (nee Jennifer Ann McCarthy; born on November 1, 1972) is an American model, actress and a television host. In 1993, she started her career as a naked model at Playboy magazine. She was later named their Playmate-of-the Year. McCarthy was later able to pursue a career in television as well as film. She started her career as a co-host on Singled Out, a MTV game show (1995-1997) She then played the character Jenny (1997-1998). The other films include BASEketball (1998) and Scream 3 (2000). John Tucker Must Die (2006) and Santa Baby (2006). She hosted her own talk show, the Jenny McCarthy Show. In 2013, she became co-host of The View on ABC. Since the year 2019, McCarthy has been a judge on the Fox musical competition show, The Masked Singer.McCarthy has written several books on parenting, and has advocated for research into the environmental causes as well as alternative treatment options for autism. She has promoted the disproven idea that vaccines cause autism, and claimed that the chelation therapy, which is a quack remedy, was able to in curing her son's autism.
