Rebel

 Rebel Melanie Elizabeth Wilson (born Melanie Elizabeth Bownds on 2 March 1980) is an Australian actress, comedian and writer. She is also a singer, writer, and producer. After finishing her studies at the Australian Theatre for Young People in 2003, Wilson began appearing as Toula in the SBS comedy series Pizza (2003-2007, 2019) and later in the sketch comedy series The Wedge (2006-2007). She produced, starred and created the musical comedy show Bogan Pride (2008). Wilson was a stand-up comic in American comedy films Bridesmaids (both in 2011), and Struck by Lightning (both in 2012). Variety named Wilson as one of the "Top Ten Comics to Look Out For in 2013". She played Fat Amy in the musical comedy Pitch Perfect film series (2012-2017), which earned her several award nominations and wins among them the MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Performance, as well as the Teen Choice Award for Choice Movie Actress. She was a part of the films of 2016 How to Be Single, and Grimsby.
