Andrew Dean East (born September 17, 1991) is an ex- American football long snapper. East played his college football at Vanderbilt and was a former long snapper for a variety of NFL teams including the Washington Redskins. He was also a captain for the North Central High School football program located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The three-year veteran was a starter on special teams and defense for the 5A division school located in the Indianapolis area.When East was a sophomore and junior, he played at the linebacker position, making 110 tackles during his junior season. East was an All-Around Area linebacker and was able to start as an extended-snapper in his senior year. He also added 64 tackles for the defense as well as seven quarterback sacks. He also won the Indiana Academic All-State honors award.On July 28, 2017, East was signed by the Raiders. The team released him on September 2nd on the 2nd of September, 2017. On January 19 2018 the player signed a reserve/future contract with the Raiders. On April 9, 2018 the Raiders waived him.
