 Russell Carrington Wilson, born November 29, 1988 is an American football quarterback for Denver Broncos in the National Football League (NFL). Wilson played with the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL from 2008 until 2010. He was then was transferred to Wisconsin in 2011 and record the single-season FBS record in passing efficiency (191.8). Wilson led the team to winning the Big Ten title, and the 2012 Rose Bowl. He also played minor league baseball for the Tri-City Dust Devils in 2010 as well as the Asheville Tourists in 2011 as an infield second baseman.The Seahawks selected Wilson in the third round (75th overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft. He broke Peyton Manning's record for the most touchdowns passed by a rookie (26) and was named Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year. Wilson was selected to nine Pro Bowlsand helped lead the Seahawks to two consecutive Super Bowls, winning Super Bowl XLVIII over the Broncos. He has the record for most wins by an NFL quarterback in nine seasons.
