 Russell Carrington Wilson (born November 29th, 1988)is an American football quarterback for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). Wilson was a player for the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL from 2008 to the year 2010. He was then was transferred to Wisconsin in 2011 to set the single-season FBS record for passing efficiency (191.8). Wilson led the team to the Big Ten title, and the 2012 Rose Bowl. He also played minor league baseball for the Tri-City Dust Devils in 2010 as well as the Asheville Tourists in 2011 as an infield second baseman.The Seahawks selected Wilson in the third round (75th overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft. He set a record for Peyton Manning's time for most touchdowns passing by an rookie (26) and was named Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year in 2012. Wilson was named to nine Pro Bowls and helped the Seahawks achieve two consecutive Super Bowls. Through nine seasons, he holds the record for most wins for an NFL quarterback.
