 John McEnroe is a former American World No. 1 tennis player, with a net worth of $100 million. McEnroe is well-known for his outstanding technique, unimaginable number of wins, and his off-court attitude, which often got him into problems with tennis officials. He has won 77 singles titles and 78 doubles titles, including seven Grand Slam Singles titles and 9 Grand Slam men's doubles titles. Many consider him to be among the top tennis players ever, McEnroe is also a former Captain of the United States Davis Cup team. Since his retirement in 2009, John has served as TV commentator and game show host and a talk show host.John McEnroe was born John Patrick McEnroe, Jr. on February 16, 1959 in Wiesbaden, West Germany. John's parents were American and he lived in Germany with his father who was stationed in the U.S. Air Force. When McEnroe was a child, the family moved to Newburgh in New York's Stewart Air Force Base, and they relocated to Flushing, Queens, in 1961 and Douglaston in 1963. John's father, John, left the Air Force to become an advertising agent , and later went on to Fordham Law School.
