 American actor Alyson Lee Hannigan was born on March 24 1974. After starting her career at the age of four through commercial appearances, she moved to Hollywood at age 11, and was soon signed by an agent.Hannigan began her film career by playing supporting roles in the comedy films Impure Thoughts (1986) and My Stepmother is an Alien (1988) and was awarded a Young Artist Award nomination for the latter. In 1999, she began starring in the American Pie film series as Michelle Flaherty, the films' principal love interest. She was featured in each film in the series between 1999 and 2012. She was nominated three times for Teen Choice Awards and received the Young Hollywood Award. After appearing in the parody movie Date Movie (2006), the slasher thriller You Might Be the Killer (2018) and the film about superheroes Flora & Ulysses (211) she began her career on TV when she starred in the short-lived sitcom Free Spirit (1989-1990), for which she was nominated for a Young Artist Award nomination. After a few small roles in TV films as well as other shows She starred in her breakout role as an aspiring teenage witch Willow Rosenberg in the supernatural drama series Buffy the Vampire Slayer,
