 Alyson Lee Hannigan (born March 24, 1974) is an American actress. She began her career as a commercial actor at the age of four. At the age of 11, she moved to Hollywood and was accepted by an agent. Hannigan also appeared in supporting roles in comedy films Impure Thoughts (1986), and My Stepmother Is an Alien (1988) which earned her an Young Artist Award nomination. In 1999, she started starring in the American Pie film series as Michelle Flaherty as the series' main love interest. She appeared in each film of the series between 1999 and 2012. For her role in the series, she was nominated for three Teen Choice Awards and won a Young Hollywood Award. After appearing in the parody movie Date Movie (2006), the slasher thriller You Might Be the Killer (2018) and the film about superheroes Flora & Ulysses (211) she began her career on TV when she starred in the sitcom that ran for a short time, Free Spirit (1989-1990), for which she was nominated for an Young Artist Award nomination. After several minor roles in television films as well as other series She starred in her breakout role as an aspiring teenage witch Willow Rosenberg in the supernatural drama series Buffy the Vampire Slayer,
