Alison Doody (born March 9 1996) is an Irish actress and model. After her film debut as Bond girl Jenny Flex in A View to a Kill (1985), she went on to play Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Siobhan Donavan has also been seen in A Prayer for the Dying (1987), Charlotte Taffin (1988), Rebecca Flannery (1994) and Catherine Buxton (2022). She also played Pam in Beaver Falls (2011-2012).Approached by a photographer, Doody took up modelling, which turned into a career in commercial modelling. Doody did not shy away from the spotlight and bare-faced work, a clause which was extended to her acting career.Having been spotted by of the casting director of the upcoming James Bond film, she was offered a small role as Jenny Flex in 1985's A View to a Kill. Doody was named one of the top 12 promising new actors of 1986 by John Willis' Screen World Vol. 38. At just 19 when she played the part, Doody was - and remains the youngest Bond girl to date.Another early movie had a minor role for IRA member Siobhan Donovan in A Prayer for the Dying (1987), which was a film starring Mickey Rourke.
