Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt has a net worth in excess of $90 million. Usain Bolt, when he was at his highest was the fastest athlete on earth and one of the highest-paid athletes, particularly in the Olympics. In the years prior to the Olympics, Usain earned around $20-30 million or more each year. He is, without doubt, the highest-paid track and field athlete of all time. As you might assume, the vast major portion of his earnings was from endorsements and not on-track competition prizes. The biggest sum of money he earned came from the German shoe manufacturer Puma which gave Usain an annual sum of $9 million to wear Puma's shoes at all times both in and out of the track. Usain brought home additional millions through deals with Visa, Nissan and Gatorade. Bolt's autobiography is a bestseller and a bestseller, was released in 2010 by Harper Collins. The advance included a multi-million dollar advance. Usain can also be paid appearance fees of up $500,000 for competing in track and field events around the globe. Usain has earned eight gold medals during his Olympic career. He holds several world records, including the 100 meter (9.58 seconds) and the 200 meters (19.19).
