Thomas

 Thomas Sowell (born June 30 1930) is an American economics and political analyst. He taught economics at Cornell University and the University of California, Los Angeles. Since the year 1980, he's been an Associate Fellow at Stanford University's Hoover Institution. Sowell writes from a libertarian conservative perspective, advocating supply-side economics. He has written more than thirty books (a majority of which were reprinted in new editions). He received the National Humanities Medal in 2002. The welfare system and other government programs pay people to fail.
