Stana Katic, a Canadian-American actress/producer (born 26 April 1978), is Stana Katic. She played Kate Beckett on the ABC romantic crime drama on television Castle (2009-2016) and Agent Emily Byrne in the thriller series Absentia (2017-2020).In August 2008, ABC announced acquisition of the television series Castle, starring Katic as Kate Beckett and Nathan Fillion as Richard Castle. In 2008, Katic established her own production company, Sine Timore Productions, which is Latin meaning "without fear".She was a jury member at the 29 May to June 5, 2011 Film Festival Zlin, where the film For Lovers Only made its world premiere. Big Sur, where she is Lenore Kasndel, debuted at the Sundance Film Festival 23 January 2013.
