Michael Oher

 Michael Oher is an American football offensive tackle with a an estimated value of $16 million. Oher's story was told in "The Blind Side", a 2009 Academy Award-winning film starring Sandra Bullock & Tim McGraw. Quinton Aaron was the actor who played Michael Oher's role. Michael Oher was born in Memphis, Tennessee on May 28 the 28th of May, 1986. Oher was born to Denise Oher, who was an drug addict and alcoholic and father named Michael Jerome Williams, who was frequently in jail. He was not disciplined or provided with the care he needed because of his upbringing. In his initial nine years in schooling, he went to 11 different schools and went through the first and second grade. When he was seven, he was placed in foster care. He was in various foster homes, and was subject to periods of being homeless. Oher's biological father, a former cellmate of Denise Oher's brother, was killed in prison while Oher was in high school senior. At the age of 16, Michael Oher was 16 years old, Sean Tuohy was able to take him in. Leigh Anne Tuohy took over as Oher's legal guardians at 17.
