He also was awarded the duPont–Columbia Prize and the D. W. Griffith Award. The $50,000 Lincoln Prize was awarded to the actor. The documentary of 2017 "The Vietnam War" was also highly well-received. There's a Ken Burns Wing at Hampshire College's Jerome Liebling Center for Film Photography, Film and Video. Burns was awarded the S. Roger Horchow award for greatest public service by a private citizen in 2004. This is an award that Jefferson Awards gives out each year.
