Ken Burn

Ken Burns is an American producer and director with a net worth of $3.5 million. Ken Burns is an American filmmaker, known for his many documentaries and documentary series that cover a range of historical subjects. The most well-known of his works are "The Civil War", "Jazz", "Prohibition," and "The Vietnam War." Burns filmmaking style is famous for his slow zooms in and out of images and footage from archives. The technique is known as"the "Ken Burns effect". Burns has received more than 20 honorary degrees. The film he directed "The Civil War" was a huge success, winning over 40 important film and television awards, including two Emmy Awards and two Grammy Awards, Producer of the Year Award (from the Producers Guild of America) and a People's Choice Award and a Peabody Award. He also received a duPont–Columbia Award as well as the D. W. Griffith Award. The $50,000 Lincoln Prize was awarded to him. The documentary from 2017 "The Vietnam War" was also appreciated. There's a Ken Burns Wing at Hampshire College's Jerome Liebling Center for Film, Photography, and Video.
