 Julianne Alexandra Hough (/h^f/ born on July 20, 1988) is an American dancer, actress, and singer. Julianne Alexandra Hough (/hfborn on July 20th the 20th of July, 1988) is an American professional dancer as well as an actress and singer. She is a professional dancer when she joined the ABC Dancing with the Stars cast in 2007. She won two seasons with her celebrity partner. In 2014, she returned to Dancing with the Stars as the judge for the show on a permanent basis, a role she held until 2017. In recognition of her work on the series she's received three nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Choreography, winning once in 2015 alongside Derek Hough.Hough made her acting debut in the 2001 film Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, but she played her first role in the 2010 film Burlesque that was followed by leading roles in the films of Ariel in Footloose, Sherrie in Rock of Ages as well as Katie in Safe Haven. She played Sandy in Grease Live, a Fox production on television. She also served as a judge for America's Got Talent for its 14th season.
