Abby Dowse

It can be difficult to grasp the magnitude of the influence of ABBA on the world if you weren't born in the 1980s. In 1974, ABBA became the most popular group on the charts after receiving the highly acclaimed Eurovision song award. The Eurovision song award launched an incredible run of success, which included eight smash records as well as a variety of hits such as "Dancing Queen", "Fernando" or "Money Money Money". The group also composed the music for the show "Mamma Mia" which has been sold everywhere since the late 90s.During their entire career, ABBA has sold over 400 million records worldwide. They're the second most popular musical group after The Beatles, and it's amazing. When you include the solo performers, ABBA is the fourth most popular musical group in history behind the #3 Michael Jackson (450 million albums sold) #3 Elvis (550 million) and the #1 (again) The Beatles (600 million). Every band member in ABBA is worth between $200 to $300 million. ABBA, unlike other major acts of yesteryear, has never held an annual reunion tour.
