 Sophia Loren is a legendary Italian model and actress with a net worth of 150 million dollars. Sophia Loren began acting in films as a teenager and then signed an agreement for five films with Paramount which brought her to global stardom. Her credits include "Marriage Italian Style," Sunflower, and "Two Women", which won her an Academy Award as Best Actress. Sophia Loren was born Sofia Villani Scicolone, in Rome, Italy, in 1934. Romilda Villani was her piano teacher and Riccardo Scicolone was an architect from a noble family. Loren's parents weren't married, and her father was a part of the family without the financial resources. At the age of 15years old, Loren was a contestant in the 1950 Miss Italia beauty pageant under the name Sofia Lazzaro; selected as one of the three finalists who were awarded the title of "Miss Elegance." While still using the name Lazzaro Loren enrolled at Italy's National Film School known as the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. In 1951, she did not get credit in "Quo Vadis" a historical epic. Loren also had parts in Italian movies like "Brief Rapture", "Era lui... si!" and "Quo Vadis" during this period. si!
