Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer is an important player in the Latin mainstream. In 2017, his 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. The year after Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and then released ADN for his debut full-length album. On the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached No. 8. Vaina Loca, the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007, saw him join Ozuna. Mala Influencia, released in 2020 by Noriel and her Dopamina album the following year. In 2021 he produced a duet for TINI's hit song Maldita Foto. The singer appeared with him in 2023 for 2000, featuring the huge hit La Bachata. Turizo came from a family of musicians the mother of his younger brother and father are musicians. According to Turizo, music was a mandatory element of his existence. As a child, he was taught how to play guitar, the piano and ukulele. Though his original career plan was to be veterinarian but his brother Julian convinced him to try learning to sing with the Cuban. It revolutionized his entire life.
