Wonder Woman is a 2017 superhero film that is based on the DC Comics character of the same name. Produced by Warner Bros. Pictures, DC Films, Atlas Entertainment and Cruel and Unusual Films, and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, it is the fourth film of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) as well as a prequel/spin-off of Batman Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016). She believes that Ares, an antagonist of the Amazons, has started the conflict. Ares was informed by Steve Trevor, an American pilot and spy, about the incident. Ivan Reitman was the producer and director of the live-action Wonder Woman movie. The project floundered in developing hell for several years;
