Verasamy

 Lucy Verasamy, born 2 August 1980 is a British weather analyst working for ITV Weather and ITV Racing. She was a student at Silfield Primary School, Framlingham College Junior School, Suffolk, and King Edward VII School, King's Lynn. There she also completed her A-level in geography. In 2001 she graduated from Brunel University with a BSc. Hons. degree in geography. Then, she became meteorologist at the Press Association's Weather Center (later changed to Meteogroup the largest private Weather Company) which was a weather forecasting company that wrote for television, radio and newspapers. Verasamy, who had previously worked for the Sky Weather Centre as a meteorologist trainee before becoming a regular weather presenter for Sky News' Sunrise breakfast show, joined Sky. Sky News launched a Climate Clinic - Ask Lucy feature in 2007 as part of their Green Britain campaign.
