Love is an American romantic comedy-drama streaming TV series developed by Judd Apatow, Lesley Arfin and Paul Rust. The show's cast includes Rust, Gillian Jacobs, Mike Mitchell, and Claudia O'Doherty. Netflix initially requested two seasons of the series. The first 10-episode season was released on February 19, 2016 and a 12-episode second season began airing on March 10 in 2017. Netflix renewed the series for a third season one month prior to the second-season premiere. Netflix announced on the 15th of December the 15th of December, 2017, that its third season was its last. The third season began airing on March 9, 2018 and provides an "down to earth" approach to relationships. It explores the male and female perspective of romantic relationships through the characters Mickey (played by Jacobs) and Gus (played by Rust). Mickey and Gus are two people who are not trustworthy both with significant emotional baggage, attempting to build trust with one another.
