Spencer Michael Rattler, an American football quarterback, was born September 28 1999. He plays college football for South Carolina. Rattler began his college career at Oklahoma and transferred to South Carolina in 2021. On September 1st, Lincoln Riley announced that Rattler had won the starting quarterback job over Mordecai and Rattler made his debut on the 12th of September at Missouri State. Rattler broke the Oklahoma record of eight touchdown passes in just two weeks on September 26. This was set by Sam Bradford back in 2008. Rattler's debut was not easy. His Sooners lost to Kansas State in Rattler's second attempt. Rattler was capable of throwing 300 yards and 2 touchdowns during his third attempt at Iowa State. The loss ended a streak that was characterized by Iowa State lose 24 consecutive home games to Oklahoma. Rattler and the Sooners put an end to a string of 24 consecutive home losses that Iowa State suffered to Oklahoma after the win against Texas in Red River Rivalry. Rattler had been a participant in the second quarter of the Semi-Final Game of the College Football Playoff against LSU. In all, he played in three games in the 2019 season.
