Robin

Forget the idea of starting a hedge fund or becoming the CEO of an online startup. If you want to make lots of money, you should move to Nigeria and become a pastor. In my elementary school days, my Catholic school's pastor drove an older Porsche. We would joke about it, but his vintage 911 pales in comparison to the Nigerian people who are clothed. The pastors didn't profess poverty when they took on their collars and began preaching the gospel to Nigerians. The new pastor can recognize the potential in the salvation of his flock. With dollar signs on their minds the pastor makes use of his own personal brand to get to the bank, and earns millions while trying to do what is right. They've taken personal branding to heart and amassed fortunes while doing so. This breed of Nigerian Pastors is more a televangelist in the vein of Ted Baker, Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell than they are real men of the cloth.
