Pete Hegseth

Peter Brian Hegseth (born June 6 in 1980) is an American television host and author.Hegseth is an Army National Guard officer and former executive director of political groups Vets For Freedom and Concerned Veterans for America. He is a part of the Koch brothers the conservative advocacy group that advocates for privatization of the Department of Veterans Affairs. He was a Princeton University undergraduate. In 2016, he came out as a strong supporter and ally of Donald Trump's presidential bid and was an occasional advisor to Trump throughout his presidency. As per reports, he persuaded Trump that three American soldiers found guilty or accused of war crimes in connection to the shooting of noncombatants in Iraq would be forgiven. Hegseth was a Guantanamo bay platoon leader during his service in the military and he defended the treatment of detained inmates.
