Michael Oher

 Michael Oher is an American football offensive tackle with a an estimated worth of $16 million. Oher's personal story was chronicled in the Academy Award-winning 2009 film "The Blind Side" starring Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw. Quinton Aaron played Michael Oher's role. Michael Oher was born in Memphis, Tennessee on May 28, 1986. Oher was the son of Denise Oher (an alcoholic and crack cocaine addict) and Michael Jerome Williams (a father who spent a lot of time in prison). He was not disciplined nor was he received the attention he required due to his childhood. He attended 11 different schools in his primary nine years of school. He was also in his first and second grades. He was placed in foster care at age seven and was able to alternate between living in various foster homes and experiencing periods of being homeless. Oher's biological father was a former cellmate of Denise's brother. He was shot dead in prison at the time Oher was in senior high school. Michael Oher was a teenager named Michael Oher was finally taken in by Sean Tuohy and Leigh Anne Tuohy at the age of 16 and the Tuohys became the legal guardians of Oher at the age of 17. Oher was assigned a tutor who would work with him for 20 hours per week.
