Alex Trebek is continuing to be a nice and good man, even after his tomb. The former "Jeopardy!" host's wardrobe is being donated by the Trebek family as well as "Jeopardy!" To The Doe Fund. The Doe Fund is a charity that provides social assistance that include housing, vocational training, continuing education housing, and paid employment to Americans who are in the prison system or are addicted. Fourteen suits, 58 formal shirts, 300 ties and a variety of other clothing items were donated at the suggestion of the son of Trebek's Matthew. The clothing will be provided to men who need them to attend job interviews as part of The Doe Fund's "Ready, Willing, and Able" rehabilitation program. The future 50,000 square foot facility is planned to be exclusively geared towards homeless seniors located in the San Fernando Valley. Trebek did not give it as an unintentional donation. He's been contributing financial support to Hope of the Valley for years. In March of 2020 He donated to the charity $100,000 to go toward a new facility located in North Hollywood. The "Alex and Jean Trebek Multipurpose Room" will reside there once it is complete. It will also house about 80 beds, bathrooms and laundry facilities.
