Mark Goldbridge, an English YouTuber of football, made the news yesterday when he announced that he would be the team's manager for the much-anticipated Sidemen charity game. The Sidemen team will play against a YouTube Allstars team in the charity match on Saturday, September 24th. The Valley stadium is able to accommodate 27,111 people, which the stars have already entirely sold out. Mark Goldbridge, a well-known Man United fan, will lead the team utilizing his vast knowledge and expertise. Goldbridge is a football fanatic with more than a million subscribers. Goldbridge made his talkSPORT debut on late night sports in the year, hosting a late night sports show. Before his fame, Goldbridge was a police officer. He came up with his online alias when starting his YouTube career to ensure it was separate from his work in the police which was where he would investigate frauds in the financial industry. The channel began in 2014, creating videos about the Premier League and his score predictions for each match. He then switched up his content to react after the match, and later to watchalong livestreams, which include his commentary.
