Kim Cattrall is an English-Canadian actress with an estimated net worth of $40 million. While she is best known for her part on HBO's "Sex and the City" but she has also had a many and varied roles in both film and television particularly during the 80s. Her memorable roles in films include "Police Academy" as well as 1986's Big Trouble in Little China, "Mannequin", and 1991's Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. "Kim Victoria Cattrall was born on the 21st of August, 1956 in the Mossley Hill district of Liverpool. She is the daughter of secretary Gladys Shane and construction engineer Dennis Cattrall. At the age of three months old, the family moved to Canada and moved to British Columbia. At age 11 when she returned to Liverpool because her mother was ill.She took acting classes at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), however, she returned to Canada after just one year. Cattrall was just 16 when she graduated from Georges P. Vanier Secondary school in 1972. She then moved to New York City to begin her acting career.
