 Dwayne Douglas, a.k.a as The Rock, was born May 2, 1972. He is an actor from the US and an ex-professional wrestler. Widely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers ever, he was integral to the growth and success of the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, which is now WWE) during the Attitude Era, an industry boom in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Johnson was a member of the WWF for 18 years prior to making the decision to pursue a career in acting. Johnson was an actor prior to when he became a top-grossing actor in the 2010s, had previously wrestled with the WWF for 8 years. Johnson was a standout in Freedom High School, Bethlehem Township, Pennsylvania, in the Lehigh Valley. He played on the school's football and wrestling teams. The Lehigh Valley Conference is known for its production of Olympic as well as professional athletes. He is grateful to his high school football coach for helping to inspire transformative modifications in his life.
