Richard "Old Man" Harrison was an American Pawn shop owner and reality TV personality who had a net worth of $8 million at the time of his demise in 2018. Richard "Old Man" Harrison was famous for being one of the featured actors on the popular History channel reality show "Pawn Stars" (2009-2015). His appearance and attitude made his name "Old Man" and he adopted the nickname when he was in his 30s. Richard opened the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas, Nevada, together with his son Rick in 1989. by the time he was in 2010 he had not missed a day of working at the shop since 1994. "Pawn Stars" debuted in 2009, and just three months later, it was the most watched program on the History Channel, and it was the basis for the popular spin-off show, "American Restoration" in the year 2010. Harrison was featured in over 270 episodes on "Pawn Stars." "Richard "Old Man" Harrison was born Richard Benjamin Harrison Jr. on March 4, 1941 in Danville, Virginia. His family relocated to Lexington, North Carolina when Richard was just a few years old. He was a student at Lexington High School but dropped out in his junior year, and when he was 14 years old, he was a dropout.
