Imelda Marcos net Worth: Imelda Marcos was a Filipino politician diplomat, diplomat and ambassador who reached a peak value of $5 billion. Imelda Marcos was born Imelda Remedios Visitacion Trinidad Romualdez in Manila, Philippines in July 1929. She was the widow and half of the former Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos. She is well-known for her collection of more than 1,000 pairs of shoes. Before she met her husband, she was a singer and model. She held positions in the government that let her travel throughout the world and accumulate real estate and artwork. She was Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary, Minister of Human Settlements, Governor of Metropolitan Manila, Mambabatas Pambansa from Region IV-A, and was a member of the Philippine House of Representatives. Benigno Aquino Jr. was killed by President Marcos. This resulted in the People Power Revolution, which led to their removal from office and into exile to Hawaii. They were later granted amnesty, and they were able to go back to the Philippines. A portion of her collection of shoes is now on display at the National Museum of the Philippines. Imelda Marcos was the focus of the documentary Imelda in 2003.
