Heather Childers

 

Heather Childers is an American television news anchor. She was a former anchor for the initial hour of Fox & Friends First for Fox News Channel and worked for the organization from 2010 to 2020. She is currently the co-anchor of American Agenda on Newsmax TV. Heather Star Childers was born in Hartsville, South Carolina on 7 January 1969. She grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. In 1987, she graduated from Myers Park High School. Childers studied at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and then received the Bachelor's degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She began her career as a professional at WCNC-TV, Charlotte in the 1990s as a reporter and producer. At WLOS which was an ABC affiliate located in Asheville, North Carolina she worked at television news stations located in Albany as well as Georgia. In 2002, she was transferred to News 14 Carolina as an anchor. She was hired by Fox News Channel as a reporter in November of 2010. She was then promoted to anchor on the America's News Headquarters (August 2011). Later, she became an early-morning Fox anchor.
