Haruka

Haruka Nanase (Qi Lai Yao Nanase Haruka) is the main protagonist of the anime series Free!. It begins with Free! and ends with HighSpeed! by Kouji Ohji. Haruka is a freestyle swimmer, and was vice-captain for the Iwatobi High School Swimming Club. He is currently studying at Hidaka University, where he is also a part of the swim club. His hair is short and straight, with bangs that fall between his eyes. He is a serious person and rarely expresses emotion. He often wore jammers under the clothes he wore to high school to make sure he was in good shape to swim at instant. The jammers (black, with minor variations in the violet striping) are virtually identical, but he says they are different sizes and he sometimes has trouble choosing the one to wear in the morning. The strongest muscles in his body are his abdominal muscles and triceps (upper arms and abdominals).
