 Devin Armani Booker (born October 30, 1996) is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Booker is the son of former basketball player Melvin Booker. [1] After playing the NCAA basketball tournament for one year playing for the Kentucky Wildcats, Booker was picked by the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the 2015 NBA draft, with the 13th overall pick. On March 24 in 2017, Booker became the first player to score over 60 points in one game and scored 70 points against the Boston Celtics. In March 2019, aged 22 years old, Booker became the youngest player in NBA history with consecutive games of 50 points. Booker has been a three-time NBA All-Star who helped the Suns get to 2021's NBA Finals. Booker also earned gold on the 2020 U.S. Olympic team in Tokyo.and Melvin Booker, who was named the 1994 Big Eight Player of the Year while a point guard at Missouri.During his time at middle school, Booker became friends with the future NBA players D'Angelo Russell and Tyler Ulis
