Anson

Anson Williams (born Anson William Heimlich on September 25, 1949, in Los Angeles, California) is an American actor as well as a singer and director best known for his character as the an innocent, well-intentioned and gullible singer Warren "Potsie" Weber on the television series Happy Days (1974-1984), a character for which he was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor for a series, Miniseries or Television Film.Unlike Howard and Most, Williams was one of the few to remain through the entire run of the series, although his appearances became less frequent during the subsequent seasons. In a few episodes, Richie, Potsie, and Ralph formed a group that performed at Arnold's Drive-In as well as other locations. As Potsie, Williams actually sang the lead vocals of the group. Williams's former wife Lorrie Mahaffey was the one who sang lead vocals in the group. Williams later returned to Happy Days in a retrospective way.
