He is known for his appearances on shows such as Home Improvement and Last Man Standing. Tim Allen made $1.25million per episode during the peak seasons of Home Improvement. This is still the fifth highest television actor pay. He was born in Denver, Colorado on June 13, 1953. Timothy was raised along with five other siblings. Timothy's father worked as a real estate agent. Timothy passed away in a car accident at the age of eleven. His mother divorced two years later , and moved her kids to Michigan along with her husband. The husband who was his mother's first had three children. This meant the family was now comprised of nine children.Tim Allen's path to comedy began in the year 1975, following a dare from his friends. He was a huge success for the audience, and was urged to perform stand-up comedy at an Detroit comedy club. He soon began appearing in commercials on TV and comedy shows on cable.
