Sarah Gray Rafferty (born December 6 1972) is an American actress, widely known for her role as Donna Paulsen on the USA Network legal drama Suits.Rafferty was raised as the youngest of four daughters living in the Riverside neighborhood of Greenwich, Connecticut. She credits her mother, Mary Lee Rafferty, who is the Chairperson of the English Department at Convent of the Sacred Heart school, and her father, Michael Griffin Rafferty Jr. He has two successful careers in finance and oil painting. He has also helped cultivate her love for the arts. The sisters she has are Maura, Ann, and Constance.Rafferty studied at Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts and graduated in 1989. After majoring in English and theatre at Hamilton College she attended Oxford University during her junior year. She then graduated magna cum laude from Hamilton in 1993. Aleksanteri Olli–Pekka Seppala is Rafferty's husband. He is an American of Finnish descent, and is an equity research analyst in Lazard Freres & Company's Asset Management unit.
