 Rosamund Pike is an English actress with an estimated net worth of $6 million. After becoming famous for her role as the character of a Bond girl in "Die Another Day" she has had a successful career in television and in film. Rosamund Pike was born in London on January 27, 1979. Her father Julian Pike is an well-known opera singer as is her mother who, who is a singer of operas herself, is her mother. She attended the independent all girls Badminton School in Bristol, however, she traveled around Europe together with her parents when they performed in recitals overseas. She was inspired by her parents' performance and started learning to play the cello at a young age. But, she realized she was drawn to acting more than music. The school's production of "Romeo and Juliet" by a talent scout who encouraged her to pursue acting as a career. However, she was rejected from all of the theater schools she had applied to after graduating high school, so she attended Wadham College at Oxford and took classes in English literature. In 2001, she graduated with an honors grade of Upper Second-class.
