Parker Schnabel is an American gold miner and reality television star who has an estimated net worth of around $8 million. Most well-known is his role in the reality show Gold Rush, and its spinoff Gold Rush : Parker's Trail. Parker Russell Schnabel was born on the 22nd of July, 1994, in Haines. His parents are Roger and Nancy Schnabel, and he has a brother, Payson. Parker Schnabel has been involved mining since he was just five years old. Parker worked for his father John Schnabel's mining firm, Big Nugget. Parker Schnabel started working with heavy machinery when he was of five. He was still in high school when he achieved the heights of fame and became a member of the basketball team for varsity. Parker Schnabel was a keen outdoorsman and adventurer. He was planning to study geology or mining studies at college with the aim of returning to the family mine. After graduating, he took over the daily mining operations of his grandfather's mine. After his grandfather John stepped down from day to day operations of the mine, Parker stepped in to fill in his shoes. He led a team which was two times his age and proved he could find serious gold. Parker chose to attend school instead.
