Jeff Foxworthy is an American stand-up comic and a TV host with an estimated worth of $100 million dollars. Foxworthy is famous for his "you might be a redneck" jokes. He is also a member of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, an ensemble of comedians that includes Bill Engvall, Larry the Cable Guy, and Ron White.Jeffrey Marshall Foxworthy was born on September 6, 1958 in Atlanta, Georgia to Carol and Jimmy Foxworthy. The father of the couple was an executive with IBM. Foxworthy completed his studies at Hapeville High School. He was enrolled in Atlanta's Georgia Institute of Technology. However, he quit shortly before graduating. For the next five years, he worked in mainframe computer maintenance at IBM alongside his father. Coworkers encouraged him enter the Great Southeastern Laugh Off contest at Punchline in Atlanta. He was a fan of performing jokes in the workplace and was constantly creating them. He entered in 1984, won the contest and then set out to pursue an acting career in comedy.Foxworthy is perhaps best known for his 1993 hit song "You Might be a Redneck If" which sparked a whole trend of "You Might be a Redneck" trend. The charts topped the album of the same name in 1993. same title. Foxworthy is the top-selling comedian and has six comedy albums.
