Hayley Atwell

 Hayley Elizabeth Atwell (born 5 April 1982) is an actress from the United States. She is a British and American actress from the United States and British. Atwell was born and raised in London. She was a student at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and made her stage debut in the year 2005 in James Kerr's translation of Prometheus Bound, an Ancient Greek tragedy. Later, she was a part of numerous West End productions and on television. She was praised for her breakthrough performance as Lady Elizabeth Foster in The Duchess (2008) and for which she was nominated for a British Independent Film Award for Best Supporting Actress. She was nominated to the Golden Globe Award as Best Actress in a Miniseries: The Pillars of the Earth (2010). Her role in the role of Agent Peggy Carter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero movie Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) earned her international recognition. This role was also reprised in the movie Agent Carter (2013) as well as the television series named after her.
